Being realistic about this upfront will help your project run much smoother and make you a happier client with a happier and well-informed design team and construction team. We have some tips for you as a designer on this and can go over this in your first consult as well. However, getting everything coordinated and lined up takes time and lots of planning to make a project run smooth… so we would like some feedback on this in order to make sure we can accommodate your expectations.

When it comes to working with an Interior Designer there are a few approaches you can take. Below we have given a brief description of the ways this can all take place! If you are still unsure about which approach is best for you and your project jot down some questions for our first consult meeting and we can tackle the questions when we meet or call, and we can help talk you through it! We want to make this process as smooth as possible for all parties involved. We love to take the stress out of making decisions!

The Consultant- requires minimal time from the designer and we are there on as needed basis. With this package designer are not always available for immediate meeting and questions.
The Compadre- client and designer work together on all aspects of the project. We meet at vendors together and work on all product and finish selections together.
The Hybrid – a little consulting, a little working on things together, and a little homework for both the designer and the client.
The Experience-the designer is the creative organizer and project manager. This is the most involved and hands on approach we offer. Your designer will handle most all conversations with contractors and vendors. We procure, manage, and install all design products as well as overseeing the installations of your hired contractor(s).
The Virtual Experience – given the times we can serve clients all over the world or locally completely over Zoom or FaceTime. You do the measurements, hire your own contractors, and we do a level of scheduled virtual appointments together to answer any questions.
